Wix Integration Guide
Enhancing your Wix site’s accessibility with Sienna takes less than 2 minutes. Follow these granular steps for a perfect deployment.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open Your Site’s Dashboard
Log in to your Wix account and click on the site you want to edit. From the left sidebar, find the Settings menu at the bottom.
2. Locate Custom Code Settings
Within the Settings panel, navigate to the Advanced section and select Custom Code.
3. Add a New Snippet
Under the Head section, click the + Add Custom Code button.
4. Input Your Snippet Details
A modal will appear. Fill in the following fields:
- Paste Code Snippet: Insert the installation script provided by your Sienna account.
- Name: Set this to
Sienna Accessibility. - Add Code to Pages: Select All Pages and use the Load code on each new page option.
- Place Code in: Ensure Head is selected for optimal performance.
5. Finalize Installation
Click Apply. Your changes should now be visible on your live site immediately.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Widget is Hidden? Check if you have other floating widgets (like Wix Chat or WhatsApp) in the same corner. If so, move the Sienna widget to the opposite side using our Customize tool.
- No Custom Code Section? Wix only enables this feature for sites with an active premium plan and a connected custom domain.
- Preview Mode: Note that the widget may not appear in the Wix Editor’s preview mode. Always check the published version of your site.
