Integrating Sienna into your Weebly site is a straightforward process that requires no coding knowledge. Follow these granular steps for a perfect deployment.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open Your Weebly Editor
Log in to your Weebly account and click Edit Site for the website you want to enhance.
2. Navigate to SEO Settings
From the top navigation bar, click on Settings. Once in the settings panel, select SEO from the left-hand menu.
3. Locate the Header Code Box
Scroll down until you find the text area labeled Header Code. This is where you will place the Sienna installation script.
4. Input Your Sienna Script
Paste your Sienna installation script into the Header Code field. Ensure it is placed exactly as provided to maintain performance.
5. Save and Publish
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page, and then click the Publish button in the top right corner of the editor to make your changes live.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Widget Not Appearing? Double-check that you clicked both Save and Publish. The changes won’t be visible on the live site until the site is republished.
- Conflict with Apps? If you have other floating apps (like a “Back to Top” button), ensure the Sienna widget doesn’t overlap. You can adjust the widget’s position in the Sienna Dashboard.
- Theme Limitations? Some custom Weebly themes may block external scripts. If you don’t see the widget, try switching to a standard theme temporarily to verify the installation.
