Installing Sienna on Webflow
Webflow supports injecting custom scripts at the site level or page level via its Custom Code settings. You need a paid Webflow site plan (not just a workspace plan) to publish custom code.
Step 1 — Open Your Webflow Project
Log in at webflow.com and open the project you want to add Sienna to in the Designer.
Step 2 — Open Site Settings
In the top-left of the Designer, click the Webflow “W” logo or navigate to the Pages panel and click the gear icon. Then go to Site Settings.
Alternatively, from the Webflow Dashboard click the site’s Settings button (gear icon on the site card).
Step 3 — Go to the Custom Code Tab
Inside Site Settings, click the Custom Code tab in the top navigation.
Step 4 — Paste Script in “Footer Code”
Scroll down to the Footer Code section. This code is injected before the </body> tag on every published page of your site.
- Use the Footer Code field, not the Head Code — the widget requires the page body to exist before it initialises.
- Pro license holders can add
data-primary-coloranddata-iconto match the Webflow project’s design tokens.
Step 5 — Save and Publish
Click Save Changes at the top of the Custom Code tab, then Publish your site. Webflow requires a republish for custom code changes to take effect.
Step 6 — Verify on the Live Site
Visit your published site URL and confirm the accessibility button appears. It should be visible within 1–2 seconds of page load.
Adding to a Single Page Only
If you only want Sienna on specific pages:
- Open the Pages panel in the Designer.
- Click the gear icon next to the page you want.
- Scroll to Before
</body>tag in the page-level custom code section. - Paste the Sienna script there.
