Managing Your Sienna License
To ensure uninterrupted accessibility services on your website, it is important to keep your license key active. Sienna provides a transparent way to track your license health directly from your dashboard.
License Status Indicators
In your dashboard, you will see your license status updated in real-time. We use three distinct visual states to help you manage your subscription:
| Status | Condition | Action Needed |
|---|---|---|
| Healthy | More than 60 days remaining | None. Your license is active and valid. |
| Expiring Soon | 60 days or fewer remaining | Action Recommended. An amber warning banner will appear. You should renew soon to avoid the grace period. |
| Expired (Grace Period) | Past expiry, within 30 days | Action Required. A red alert banner will appear. Your widget is still functioning but will stop working soon. |
The 30-Day Grace Period
We understand that renewals can sometimes be overlooked. To protect your site’s accessibility, Sienna includes a 30-day grace period.
- What happens: The widget will continue to function normally on your live site for 30 days after the official expiry date.
- Hard Cutoff: Once the 30-day grace period ends, the widget will automatically disable itself until a new valid license key is provided.
How to Renew Your License
Renewing your license does not require a new purchase if you are on an active paid plan. It simply refreshes the security timestamp (the c value) in your key.
- Log in to your dashboard.
- Click the Renew or Regenerate button next to your license key.
- Deployment: Update the snippet on any new sites.
Note: Existing installations do not need to be updated; they will continue to work using the old key until its original expiry date (plus the 30-day grace period) is reached.
